Monica Gernert has been a dedicated member of the Johnstown Youth Athletic Association (JYAA) board since 2019, bringing her expertise in analytics and leadership from her role as Director of Analytics at the Office of Health Mart, a division of McKesson. Her commitment to the JYAA is driven by a passion to offer Johnstown's youth meaningful opportunities to explore their interests. Monica is focused on ensuring that JYAA operates as a well-functioning business, prioritizing the safety of young athletes while fostering growth and development within the community. Her dual focus on business acumen and community engagement underscores her dedication to creating a nurturing and secure environment where children can thrive.

Kelsie Thrash is a lifelong resident of Johnstown and has a professional background in Human Resources across multiple industries. She has had the privilege of serving on the JYAA Board in various roles since 2021 and is passionate about supporting youth sports in the community. In addition to JYAA, Kelsie enjoys serving as a small group leader in the children’s ministry at her church. When she’s not at the ballfields throughout the spring and fall, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, their three kids—Salyer, Benny, and Alice— and their two dogs and flock of chickens.
